RBC Royal Bank (also known as Royal Bank of Canada) serves over 18 million customers worldwide, and is the largest financial institution located within Canada. Founded in 1864 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, it is currently headquartered out of Montreal, Quebec. RBC Royal Bank maintains more than 1,200 branch locations throughout Canada, and provides financial services to over 10 million Canadians.
Personal and business account holders enrolled in RBC Online Banking are given access to numerous digital financial services including online bill pay, account transfers, as well as other various account, investment, and loan management tools.
- Basic account information (such as balance details, or recent deposits) can be obtained by calling the ‘everyday banking’ customer support line at 1-800-769-2511.
Step 1 - Go to the Sign In webpage.
Step 2 - On the sign in webpage, enter your client card/username, along with your password into the blank entry fields. Click the ‘Sign In’ button.
Step 3 - After clicking the ‘Sign In’ button, you will be redirected to your account management area.
- Forgot Client Card/ Username – If you cannot recall your client card/username, go here, and enter the required information in order to recover your username/client card details. Note: You must have an email address and client/credit card on file with RBC Royal Bank in order to recover your username online. If you do not have an email address or card on file, call this number for assistance: 1-800-769-2555.
- Forgot Password – If you know your username, but have forgotten your online password, go to the Password Recovery page. Enter your username into the blank entry field, and then click the ‘Continue’ button.
RBC Royal Bank provides mobile applications across multiple platforms for both personal and business account holders.
RBC Royal Bank’s mobile website is located at the same URL as their main website (www.rbcroyalbank.com). First time users of the mobile website will be presented with the option to download the RBC Mobile Banking App (by clicking on the link titled ‘Get the App’), or to use the mobile website (by clicking on the ‘No Thanks’ link). Once on the mobile website, users can sign in to their account by clicking on the ‘Sign-In’ icon located on the lower menu bar (outlined in the screenshot below).
Enroll in Online Banking
Step 1 - Canadian customers can enroll in online banking by going to this webpage. U.S. account holders can enroll here. International customers should refer to the RBC Bank International webpage for more information about online banking with international accounts. Business account holders can enroll by calling 1(800)-769-2520, or by visiting a branch location.
Step 2 - Both Canadian and U.S. customers will need their client/credit card number, and U.S. customers will need their checking/savings account number as well. Canadian users can click the ‘Enroll Now’ button to begin the enrollment process. On the U.S. enrollment page, users can click the ‘Continue’ button to begin the enrollment process.
Step 3 - Follow the steps within the enrollment process, and provide the specific information that is required in order to successfully enroll into the RBC Online Banking service.
