Patelco Credit Union was founded in 1936 as a community credit union. The union serves parts of North California, especially the San Francisco Bay Area. With a $4 billion valuation, Patelco Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions in the US. The credit union opened its doors to the public in 1983 after initially serving an organization called Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company. It has a total of 41 branches with 1 in Chicago and the rest in Northern California.

Enroll in Online Banking
You can enroll for online banking by visiting a branch location, calling customer support at 1-800-358-8228 or following the steps below.
Step 1 – Open the Patelco Credit Union homepage and click “Sign Up” at the top of the page as illustrated below.

Step 2 – Enter the following information:
- Social Security Number
- Member Id
- Zip Code
- Email Address
- Year of Birth

Click “Continue” to complete the sign up process. The information you enter must match your member details.
